Allow me to tell you everything :
It was like a birthday party. only better. So actually, it was better than a birthday party. All of my friends & co-workers came together to celebrate my accomplishment, not just to congratulate me on being alive one year longer. AWESOME!
I whipped up a few recipes from the book & they were gobbled up before the party was over #success
I sent friends home with goodie bags full of treats (so that my adorable boyfriend wouldn't sneak them into his breakfast/lunch/dinner :)
Regarding my new gluten-free life style...well this weekend was tough. I had a BFF in from out of town and I wanted to eat at every single one of my favorite restaurants, naturally. It isn't easy to watch others enjoy things that hurt your tummy and make you want to never eat them again except for that they are so delicious so you actually do want to eat them all day except they hurt your tummy and... the cycle continues.
rinse & repeat.
SO I HAVE A CONFESSION. I couldn't take it any longer and I ate things I shouldn't have. at my own dang party. and it hurt. and now I'm back on track.
#glutenrelapse
#lessonlearned
cheers : )
