this morning I made coffee, loaded up my re-useable grocery bags full of bubble-mail envelopes filled with my new book, and trotted over to the post office.
I was third in line.
#feelingambitious
the big rush came after I stepped into line, when everyone-and-their-mother came storming in, obviously in a rush to mail off their precious cargo. or buy stamps. or whatever else you do at the post office, idk.
when I walked up to the counter with my 37 parcels, I was actually afraid to look back. so I didn't.
there was sighing, foot tapping and anxious shuffling as I unloaded my bags and placed your books onto the counter.
I felt bad for the post-lady.
34 domestic
3 international
1 package of postage stamps &
45 minutes of frustrated strangers staring at the back of my head
just to say - your books are coming!
happy saturday everyone! (even to those who I hope are never behind me in line ever again)
I didn't ship them in any particular order, but about 2/3 of the books are not yet shipped - don't worry, they will be soon : )
